Bill Goldberg

Managing Principal, W. Alexander Group

Bill is the Managing Principal of W. Alexander Group. He was recently part of a successful recap at Relevate Health Group, which has enabled him to pursue his passion and unique model of helping businesses get to their next level of business worth.

Bill knows how to lead organizations to reach optimum business worth. He is experienced and adept at balancing both big company and entrepreneurial systems and processes.

In his private company life, Bill was Managing Principal and CEO of Relevate Health Group, leading it from startup, through years of substantial financial growth to premier status as a healthcare marketing service organization. As a result, the company has been recognized nationally: Winner of Inc. 500, Deloitte Rising Star, Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year Midwest Finalist, Best Places to Work and repeatedly recognized nationally as a Top 100 healthcare marketing services organization by Medical Media & Marketing.

In his public company life, Bill served as an executive officer at Harte-Hanks, a Fortune 1000 marketing services company, managing over $600MM in revenue. As leader of the National Markets Organization, he was responsible for sales and marketing and implemented fundamental process changes that led the company to consistent profitability, even in the toughest of times. Bill was instrumental in re-aligning the organization into seven key vertical markets and initiated deep understanding and tactical action plans of the drivers of leaky revenue (lost customers or those spending less) and “sticky” revenue (recurring revenue over time).

Bill offers a unique ability to execute on multiple levers of growth, including: talent acquisition, business development, channel development, acquisitions, alliance partners and new services/offerings. His ability to navigate debt and equity options provides companies great financial flexibility while mitigating risk. He also excels in getting to the heart of complex issues quickly.
